Approx. 14.0”/ (35.5 cm) in diameter.

MATERIALS
Sugar ‘n Cream Yarn (100% Cotton; 70.9 g/ 2.5oz.;109m/120yds); Worsted Weight

  • Main Color (MC) Ecru – approx. 1 ½ ball;

CROCHET HOOK
G6 (4.00 mm) crochet hook, OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.

GAUGE
15 dc and 7 rows to 4”/10 cm

(Note: Be sure to check your gauge before starting to crochet. If the gauge is larger, change to a smaller hook size, or work tightly. If it is smaller, change to a larger hook size, or work loosely.)

INSTRUCTIONS

Notes:

  1. Ch 3 at beg of rounds count as dc throughout.
  2. Ch 1 (ch 2) at beg of rounds does not count as st throughout.
  3.  To avoid mistake(s), count stitches in each round when finished.

Rnd 1:  Begin with a magic ring, ch 2, 24 dc in magic ring; join with sl st in first dc – 24 dc.

Note: You may search “magic ring” on You Tube for detailed instruction.

Rnd 2:  Ch 2 (does not count as st), * dc in next st, 2 dc in next st; rep from * around; join with sl st in first dc – 36 dc.

Rnd 3:  Ch 2, * dc in each of next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st; rep from * around; join with sl st in first dc – 48 dc.

Rnd 4:  Ch 2, * dc in each of next 3 sts, 2 dc in next st; rep from * around; join with sl st in first dc – 60 dc.

Rnd 5:  Ch 2, * dc in each of next 4 sts, 2 dc in next st; rep from * around; join with sl st in first dc – 72 dc.

Rnd 6:  Ch 2, * dc in each of next 5 sts, 2 dc in next st; rep from * around; join with sl st in first dc – 84 dc.

Rnd 7:  Ch 2, * dc in each of next 6 sts, 2 dc in next st; rep from * around; join with sl st in first dc – 96 dc.

Rnd 8:  Ch 2, * dc in each of next 7 sts, 2 dc in next st; rep from * around; join with sl st in first dc – 108 dc.

Rnd 9:  Ch 2, * dc in each of next 8 sts, 2 dc in next st; rep from * around; join with sl st in first dc – 120 dc.

Rnd 10:  Ch 1, * sc in each of next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st; rep from * around; join with sl st in first sc – 144 sc.

Rnd 11:  Ch 1, BPsc around each st around; join with sl st in first BPsc  – 144 BPsc.

Rnd 12:  Ch 4, skip st, * dc in next st, ch 1, skip next st; rep from * around; join with sl stin third ch of beg ch 4   – 72 dc and 72 ch-1 sps.

Rnd 13:  Ch 1, * 2 sc in each ch-1 space around; join with sl st in first sc – 144 sc.

Rnd 14:  Ch 1, BPsc around each st around; join with sl st in first BPsc – 144 BPsc.

Rnd 15:  Ch 1, * sc in next st, skip next st, 5 dc in next st, skip next st; rep from * around; join with sl st in first sc  – 36 petals.

Rnd 16:  Ch 1, skip first sc, * BPsc around each of next 5 dc, skip sc; rep from * around; join with sl st in first BPsc  – 180 BPsc.

Fasten off. Secure yarn to WS.
