Lion Brand “Hometown USA” (100% Acrylic; 5 oz/142g; 81yd/74m); Super Bulky weight.
- Main Color (MC) – (099 Los Angeles Tan) – approx. 3 balls;
- Contrast A – (215 Little Rock Granite) – approx. 2 balls;
- Contrast B – (108 Washington Denim) – approx. 3 balls;
- Contrast C – (153 Oakland Black) – approx. 2 balls;
CROCHET HOOK
M/13 (9.00 mm), or N/15 (10.00 mm) crochet hook, OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
GAUGE
6 dc and 4 rows to 4”/10 cm, using N/15 (10.00 mm) crochet hook.
(Note: Be sure to check your gauge before starting to crochet. If the gauge is larger, change to a smaller hook size, or work tightly. If it is smaller, change to a larger hook size, or work loosely.)

12.0” wide x 88.0” circumferences
INSTRUCTIONS
Notes:
- Scarf is worked back and forth in rnds.
- When changing color always complete last half of last st worked with next color, keeping yarn not used to back of work.
- Ch 1 at beg of rnds or rows does not count as st throughout.
- Ch 2 at beg of rows count as hdc.
- Ch 3 at beg of rows count as dc.
- To avoid mistake(s), count stitches in each rnd when finished.
With MC, loosely work chain 88 inches /224 cm long.
Join with sl st in first bump behind the chain (See Photo Tutorial), being careful not to twist sts.
Rnd 1 (RS): With MC, ch 3 (count as dc), dc in each bump around; join with sl st to top of beg ch 3. Turn. Cut MC, join A.
Note: When changing color always complete last half of last st worked with next color, keeping yarn not used to back of work.
Rnd 2 (WS): With A, ch 3, dc in each st around, join with sl st to top of beg ch 3. Turn. Cut A, join B.
Rnd 3: With B, ch 3, dc in each st around; join with sl st to top of beg ch 3. Turn.
Rnd 4: Ch 1 (does not count as sc), sc in same st, and in each st around; join with sl st in first sc. Turn. Cut B, join C.
Rnd 5: With C, ch 2 (count as hdc), hdc in each st around; join with sl st to top of beg ch 2. Turn. Cut C, join MC.
Next Rnd(s): Repeat Rnd(s) 1-5 twice.
Next Rnd: Repeat Rnd 1 once.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Weave in ends of the yarn.
